I started A Charmed Dogs Tale in December of 2014. I saw a story on Facebook about a dog in Florida named Pollo. This dog had gotten out of its backyard and was beaten by a neighbor with a baseball bat. She was in critical condition and the rescue, Lifelife Dog Rescue needed funds to help pay for all of her vet care.
At the time I actually owned a jewelry business, I wanted to help so badly. So I got the idea to make special charm bracelets in honor of Pollo. I would donate 50% of profits made from the sale of the bracelets to Lifeline and Pollo.
It was a HUGE success and I was able to donate quite a bit of money. From there I got the idea to keep trying to help dogs in these situations. I knew bracelets wouldn't be enough and that it was time to learn how to sew. With the help of youtube, I learned how to use a sewing machine!
So with a cheap sewing machine and a dream to help do the right thing, A Charmed Dogs Tale was born.
I went from making bracelets and within a year, I make all kinds of dog accessories. All of my items are handmade with high quality hardware. All of my items are sure to last, and I take pride in all I do.
Each month I choose severe cases of neglect, abuse, abandoned dogs and campaign for them and their rescue. You can follow all of these dogs stories from rescue to forever home on my facebook page. Just look us up and ask to join!
I really hope you enjoyed my story and you choose to buy a really great item from a shop that really does support the voiceless.
Thank you so much!
